Koan Essentials (MDB) (SSEYO)

Koan Essentials Morphing Drum + Bass ("MDB") was a SSEYO Koan title published in 1998.

MDB, as it was fondly referred to, included a number of Koan X templates set up to use the included SF2 and WAV samples licensed from Zero G. It featured various generative techniques such as the use of mutating Fixed Patterns to play "recycled" break beats.

Thanks to the generosity of Zero-G we have now been able to create a Tiklpak of this historical release for you to play with in Wotja. Remember, this title was made in 1998! Get MDB here.

Recommended minimum requirements
P90 PC (or higher), 16Mb RAM, DOS 5.0 (or higher), Windows 3.1x / Windows 95 (or later)/ Windows NT 4 (or later), Mouse, CD-ROM drive, 25Mb free hard disk space (32 bit installation) or 12Mb free hard disk space (16 bit installation). For use of SoundFont templates: Creative Labs AWE soundcard with 512K SoundFont memory (minimum). For use of WAV file templates: Windows 95 (or later) and DirectX 5 (included on CD- ROM), Windows NT 4 (or later) [and you will need to obtain an appropriate version of DirectX for NT which is not included on the CD- ROM], 32 bit Koan software installed, any PC soundcard. Will also work with SSEYO Koan X Platinum / SSEYO Koan Pro 2 (not required), or for use of SoundFonts only, a sequencer (not included).
