Important Notes
Wotja V20 Apps:
- Further details will be provided once released but they will be similar to the notes below.
Wotja V19 (Free) Apps:
- The Windows and Android free apps are locked in the 'Free' Feature Set.
- Note: They are updated on a rolling basis meaning when Wotja V20 is released you will be able to get that update.
Wotja V19 (Subscription Apps):
- The iOS and macOS free apps are Subscription versions.
- Without an active Subscription they operate with the 'Free' Feature Set.
- Feature Set tiers:
- 'Pro' - Unlocks the 'Pro' Feature Set
- Long Play [LP] tiers:
- Alternative: Get a Paid-for version, e.g 'Wotja Pro 19' or 'Wotja Box 19'.
- Note: The Subscription versions of 'Wotja' are updated on a rolling basis meaning if you keep an active Subscription then (excepting OS dependencies) when Wotja V20 is released you will be able to get that update and your Subscription tier will keep working.
Wotja V19 Paid-for Apps:
- The Paid-for versions of Wotja V19 all have the relevant Feature Set.
- They will get all relevant Wotja V19 updates only during the course of 2019. To be clear, that means there will be no updates for it in 2020 or later. See the FAQ on our Upgrade/Fullgrade model.
- Alternative: Get the Subscription version and take out a 'Pro' Subscription for the same Feature Set as the corresponding Paid-for version.
- Wotja Go 19: If you purchase Wotja Go 19 for iOS (via the App Store) or Wotja Go 19 for tvOS (via the App Store for Apple TV) then you get the other app for free (it is like an app bundle in effect); if you purchase 'Wotja Go 19' for Android from the Amazon Appstore then it includes the 'Wotja Go 19' app for Fire TV.
Wotja V5 Paid-for Apps:
- Wotja A 2018 (V5) for iOS/macOS: These are the only Wotja Accessibility versions now available (i.e. the only versions with support for VoiceOver) and they will get no further updates as we are now in 2019. We recommend getting what you want soon as they will remain available for sale only for a limited time (we are not sure how long). Why? See the FAQ.
Wotja Requirements
Windows (PC, laptop):
- Windows 10; 250 MB hard disk space, 512MB RAM. Please note that Wotja runs as a 64-bit application only.
- MIDI Out/In: Windows MIDI services.
macOS (Mac, Macbook, MacBook Pro etc.):
- macOS 10.12 or later; 250 MB hard disk space, 512MB RAM; Intel Mac; 64-bit (Universal binary installed). Please note that Wotja runs as a 64-bit application only.
- MIDI Out/In: CoreMIDI, Virtual MIDI.
iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch):
- V19/V20: iOS 11+ or later; iPhone, iPod touch, iPad.
- V5: iOS 9.3+ or later; iPhone, iPod touch, iPad.
- MIDI Out/In: CoreMIDI, Virtual MIDI.
- Wotja for iOS is a universal binary and supports standard and retinal displays for iPhone and iPad.
tvOS (Apple TV):
- Wotja Go 19 (19.7+); Apple TV and Apple TV 4K, 4th Generation or later; tvOS 12.2+.
Android (Mobile, Tablet, Laptop):
- Amazon Store/Google Play Store: Android 6.0+ or later.
- MIDI Out/In: Support for MIDI Out/In is experimental and device dependent - requires appropriate device support and hardware interface on Android. If you really do need MIDI Out/In then before purchasing the annual version first try to see if you can get it working on your device with the free version of Wotja.
