Our reasonably priced creativity apps could be just what you're after for some creative fun. There is no time like the present, so why not just go for it and see what music or lyric ideas you can come up with?!

  • IMPORTANT: Purchases made using Paypal as your means of payment are always made by Paypal in USD and you will be charged by Paypal a small currency conversion / fixed fee if you do not have a USD Paypal account - this Paypal fee is not shown on the order form. To indicate that the transaction is in USD, if you do select a currency other than USD then the USD price of the software is shown in brackets e.g. £32.51 (39.99 USD).
  • Intermorphic Secure Online Store: Hosted for us by well respected BlueSnap (formerly Plimus). For BlueSnap help refer to the BlueSnap Customer Support Gateway.
  • Windows Software: Our Web store sells only licences to use our Windows. The latest version of that Software itself is always downloadable from the relevant product pages. To purchase licenses for versions of our apps for other platforms see the relevant App Store links.
  • 30 day Windows Desktop trial software: Our Desktop Windows trial software products are full save versions: after 30 days you are not licenced to save with the software unless you first purchase the relevant Licence to unlock it.
  • End User Licence Agreement (EULA) links: You can find links to all the various product EULAs here: Product EULAs
  • Performance Licences: With respect to use of our software for installations, please check the terms of the relevant EULA which, for commercial use, require you to purchase an additional, separate license.
  • Desktop Versions and Updates: Customers who purchase from our webstore a License for Version "n" (where n is a number) of a Desktop Software will be entitled to use for free (and be licensed for) any updates we make available for download via our website for that version of the software (i.e. V2.x updates for the V2 version).
  • Sales Taxes: All prices include sales taxes.

Yes, for apps that we are continuing to develop, we do make "upgrades" available. They are all paid for in one way or another, so we guess what you are probably asking is "how much do they cost?". We now operate a Fullgrade Model; see below that for the differences between Updates and Upgrades etc.

Fullgrade Model

Rather than having a Full Price purchase for our Software followed by upgrades at a lower Upgrade Price, we decided in 2012 to forgo the higher initial Full Price and simply sell versions at the lower Upgrade Price - we call this hybrid approach a "Fullgrade" model. Even though we lose out on the initial "revenue blip" we did it A) because it cuts out complexity (for both you and us) and B) for new customers it also means our apps now cost less than they otherwise would have done. If you want an Upgrade or Annual Release with its new features and content then just buy it and know you are getting a good deal!

Free Updates

Updates: We provide free "updates" for all our apps whilst they remain available for sale (e.g. Wotja, Wotja 2017 or Noatikl 3).

Purchase Options

Initial Purchase: Since 2012 we have only had an "Upgrade Price" (see "Fullgrade" Model, above) whereas for most Software there is traditionally a "Full Price" first purchase followed by a lower cost "Upgrade Price" for each new Major Version.

Upgrades: "Major Version" increments of our apps, i.e. Upgrades, have always been new "paid for" apps (e.g. Noatikl 2 > Noatikl 3) and sold at Upgrade Prices (see "Fullgrade" Model, above).

Subscriptions (Wotja only): An active subscription in one of our subscription apps is like having a rolling upgrade program for it, which is why we strongly recommend In-App Subscriptions. See the Subscription FAQ.

Annual Releases (Wotja only): We make available "paid for" annual releases (e.g. Wotja 2017) with same capabilities and regular updates as the the subscription version and these are updated in tandem with the subscription versions up until the end of the relevant year; if you want *further updates* after this time you would need to purchase the *next* paid for version. You may continue using this version for as long as you like (assuming, of course, it runs OK on any new OS you choose to install); if you want to save even more money then get the subscription version.

App Bundles: These are not part of our Fullgrade model, where prices are already at upgrade levels. We have in the past used them to give a discount for bulk purchase of multiple paid for apps. Now that we have consolidated to just one app, Wotja, we no longer have a need to offer App Bundles.

Do I need to get the new Major Version or Annual Release?

Well, that is up to you and will be down to whether or not you want or need any features/content in it. If you do not think the feature set for a particular Major Version or Annual Release is strong enough and you don't want or need it, you don't have to get it - you can skip it. There is no obligation for you to buy the new Major Version or Annual Release and, remember, if you have purchased a paid for app you can continue using it for as long as you like (assuming, of course, it runs OK on any new OS you choose to install). Doing things this way very much keeps us on our toes, and there is no fig leaf for us to hide behind.

P.S. Don't forget, if you purchase a paid for your app near the end of the previous Major Version or Annual Release cycle then it is still great value as, at an "upgrade price", you get the benefit of all the improvements that we packed in during that cycle (be they features, fixes or stability)!

What about OS and 3rd party library support?

Toolchains are always changing, and it can take a lot of time to modify, test and update software to support new versions of an OS or new 3rd party libraries (e.g. AudioBus etc.). That is why for each Major Version or Annual Release cycle we try hard to ensure our software works correctly with what is available at the time and whilst it is availabale.

As the years go by, though, older versions of our software may not work correctly with newer 3rd party services or a newer OS that you may choose to upgrade to (remember, it is entirely YOUR CHOICE to do that). That attrition is just the way the appverse works. It is a tough choice, but we simply do not have the bandwidth to continuously update old apps that may have cost a few dollars AND to keep our current apps moving forwards for customers who want new things.

Considering Leaving a Review?

We love our customers and our goal is to build for them very powerful, high quality generative tools. We are like master craftsmen with years of experience - but we exist in a very small, niche, market. We take on board and act on all feedback about the quality our apps - after all, we want to make them the best we can. We hope you enjoy our apps and that you will consider giving them nice reviews!

However, if you are thinking of leaving a negative review, perhaps because you are unhappy about pricing, or indeed anything else, then please first stand back, take a deep breath and reflect on the following before doing so:

Every negative review that is left impacts our sales and so adversely impacts on our ability to survive in our niche market. We know that you expect to be able to eat for the work you do, and we know that you are a nice person and you would want us to eat, too, for the work we do. For 2 guys like us to develop our complex apps (and update them) is a very, very time consuming activity. If we cannot (somehow) make enough money to keep it all going then our niche apps will simply wither and die. If you have any serious issues or pressing concerns then please get in touch with us directly, rather than airing those in a public review that is often hard to respond to. Yes. The Product Keys are the same for both 64-bit and 32-bit versions, where available (noting that our new releases no longer offer 32-bit support), but please also refer to the EULA.

The only way to purchase our iOS or Mac apps are at the relevant Apple App Store. Apple do not let us know our customers, so we have no way of linking the purchases together to allow that. So, what we do instead is make sure that all of our App versions are always great value!

You should get email confirmation of your purchase soon after purchasing, and by that we means seconds, minutes or possibly (rarely) a few hours - and not days (but we have on only 2 occasions in the last 2 years bizarrely seen this kind of delay for a Paypal purchase!). In the email(s) will be the relevant Product Key(s).

If for some reason you do not receive your email, or the email is missing the Product Key PLEASE do contact us so we can sort it out for you. Very occasionally BlueSnap [formerly called Plimus] (our store partner) has had problems sending out the emails, so if you have got a problem, we want to assure you that we will sort it out for you as soon as we can!
