Use Included Rules

For each Rule type, Wotja has some Included Rules that you can use (e.g. Scale Rule - "Dorian"). We refer to these as "Standard Rule Values". Here is how to select Included Rules

Steps

1. Open a Mix (14Mix File)
2. Edit Mode
   • 29Music
3. Rule Type
   • Generator Rule
     • IGenerator Main Editor Panel
       • If the subpanel is not showing, Edit Mode Music > double tap a 30Generator for the 6Generator Menu > select "Edit {Selected Generator}" for a full screen editor.
     • 9Parameter Group Selector > "Rules"
     • 16Parameter Edit Control "Rule"
       • Scale, Harmony, Next Note, Rhythm
   • Cell Rule
     • 13Cell Properties View
       • Cell Generative > Rules
       • Scale, Harmony, Next Note, Rhythm
   • Mix Rule
     • 14Mix Properties View
       • Mix General > Mix Rules
       • Mix Scale, Mix Harmony, Mix Next Note, Mix Rhythm
4. Rule Editor
   • 9Mix Rule Selector or 11Cell Rule Selector
   • 14Action > "Use Standard Rule Value"
