The new release of Mixtikl is available first for Android devices, with the iOS version now being in review with Apple. Mixtikl GP (6.2.4/6.2.5) for Android [Google Play]: - In a big experiment by us, Mixtikl GP is now an ad-supported FULL PRODUCT meaning you can create and save files, edit generators, edit sound & fx networks etc. Being ad-supported means it must always run in the foreground and be connected to the internet so that ads can display. - If you want an Android version with no ads and/or to use offline or in background audio mode, then get Mixtikl AZ from the Amazon Appstore. - Squashed more bugs (6.2.5 fixes the issue that we inadvertently left the 2min timeout in - sorry). The new release of Mixtikl is ready and is both a feature and bug fix update. Mixtikl 6.1.6 for Android (AZ/GP versions): - The pop-up bottom slider no longer immediately auto-hides when you make a change to the mixer vol/pan control or a Partikl knob setting; you now have have a few seconds to make further changes via that slider - Various bug fixes and minor changes Mixtikl 6.1.3 for iOS includes all the above plus: - Added support for Apple Inter-App Audio (turned on with the Audiobus toggle), meaning you can record directly in e.g. GarageBand without requiring Audiobus - Audiobus updated to Audiobus 2 - Selecting a SF2 patch in the Wavetable Unit no longer auto closes the dialog, improving sound previewing Note: All Mixtikl mobile versions are ad supported, so you must be connected to the Internet in order to run them. This was an unwelcome surprise that came out of the blue and will affect all developers that used their services for IAP (which a very big number). If you wish to retain use of the IAP Loop Essentials Tiklpaks that you purchased then simply update Mixtikl and *do not* uninstall it. If you do *uninstall* Mixtikl from your iOS device, however, then your IAP Loop Essentials Tiklpaks will also be removed. You can reinstall them again by restoring a backup of your iOS device which had backed up Mixtikl. We appreciate this is not an ideal situation and we are looking to submit an update soon that can find a solution for this.

This release brings Android support and the Android version is available exclusively (for now) through the Amazon Appstore for Android service • Android version specific notes- - No mic recording yet - No http connection for file sharing (and no iTunes sharing, obviously!) - No in-app purchase yet - Tweet export doesn't use a built-in twitter client - just puts the mixtikl on the clipboard - Runs at any screen size - Builds are configured to have higher latency than iOS versions to cater for devices with lower performance; see Menu > Settings and Sample Frames/Block count if you want to experiment with achieving lower latency in the Visualiser mode. It brings drill-down parameter editing of core Noatikl parameters, allowing you to customise all included generative content. Messing with patterns and pattern randomisation can be a lot of fun for generating new riff ideas and arps. The Noatikl parameter editor is primarily aimed mainly at Noatikl users who are familiar with Noatikl for PC/Mac, which is also recommended for constructing pieces from scratch. We have updated Mixtikl to version 2.0.1.4 We have submitted the iPhone/iPod update to the App Store; all other platforms are ready to download direct from the Intermorphic site. We have updated Mixtikl to version 2.0.1.0. Changes made have primarily been concerned with improving useability, and making it much easier to get started with a new mix. Changes: - New Random and New Empty have been added to all the included Tiklpaks; selecting New Random will create new mix populated from all the available content; - You can add your own New Random files, where generative and audio loop content is identified in the underlying New Random.mixtikl mix file by: Gen content vol=88, Audio loops vol=87. If tempo is set to 0 then tempo will be randomised, too; - Get Paks (was first item in mixes) now moved to More Mixtikl menu, again to simplify making new mixes; - Tapping top _right_ in Mixer screen does not now load the main menu (which was confusing), and the tooltip text is now yellow to show it relates to the highlighted cell; - New "Clear EVERYTHING" added to Actions menu, so you can clear everything in a mix back to default settings; - In the Apps menu the Partikl entry has been renamed to "File Player" (which better reflects what it does, and where advanced access to Partikl settings for a file can be accessed); - File Player layout improved; - Windows Mobile: Product Key can now be entered.

We have updated Mixtikl to version 1.0.0.5 Changes: - Modified choice of "Home" on Windows Mobile devices with storage card, such that if you have installed your softare to storage card, it uses that as the home folder. This makes it a lot easier to use your own large custom content paks; provided you install Mixtikl to a Storage Card! - Implemented a work-around for a problem in Windows Mobile, where using lots of content zip files on storage card could lead to files failing to open; this was a due to a bug/restriction in Windows Mobile, that seems to be present in all devices. - Fixed bug where if you tap in a blank area in a dialog (e.g. when editing an effect unit), that dialog might close
